After placing your online order with Kovix, we send your order information to Capitol Armory. They will contact you to facilitate the submission of your ATF paperwork. Upon approval, they will ship your new suppressor directly to your door - no gun shop required!

Yes. Shortly after placing your suppressor order, you will be contacted by Capitol Armory to initiate your electronic Form 4 transfer process. You'll fill out a customer profile, and gather the same required information as if you were submitting your Form 4 through your local dealer.

Capitol Armory will send you information with options to gather digital or physical fingerprint cards, as a part of your eForm 4 submission.

DEALER | FASTER

Most customers have experienced quicker overall processing when going through their local dealer. With Form 3 transfer approvals (Kovix shipping to your dealer) taking less than 24 hours, there is not much delay in getting your suppressor to your dealer. Many dealers have the ability to capture your fingerprints and passport photo on-site, so you're often able to submit your Form 4 paperwork in a single visit.

DIRECT TO DOOR | MORE CONVENIENT

There is a little more back-and-forth that takes place during the information gathering process with fulfillment through Capitol Armory. And once your Form 4 is approved, there is an additional 7 day waiting period for your CLEO letter. In general, this process may take 2-3x longer than going through your local dealer. It is a trade-off. If you're rural and making multiple trips to your local dealer is going to be a major inconvenience, this is a great option that makes the buying process super easy!
