With the passage of H.R.1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act), the NFA transfer tax on suppressors, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, and AOWs is no more. Wile we're excited about this small win and remain optimistic about the future of the NFA, we are disappointed that the effective date of SEC. 70436 isn't until January 1st, 2026.
That means we're stuck with the $200 tax until then.
For the rest of 2025, the Kovix Tax Stamp Program is in effect.

We get it. Taxation is theft. But there's not a whole lot we can do at this point about the $200 NFA tax. We made our voices heard - loud and clear. And they listened & voted this tax into oblivion. Yeah, the tax is going away, but not until January 1st, 2026. That's government for you.
While we can't do anything to push the timeline of this effective date, we can do all in our power to help ease the burden on our customers. So we instituted the Kovix Tax Stamp Program: $200 back in your pocket in the form of a gift card, valid for purchases throughout 2025 and 2026 at kovix.com.
To qualify for the program, you must purchase a Kovix suppressor and submit your Form 4 on or before December 31, 2025. Registrations and/or submissions for the Program must be submitted before April 1st, 2025..
ONLINE ORDERS
When you add a Kovix suppressor to your cart, our system will automatically add a $200 Tax Stamp to your cart. Under the Kovix Tax Stamp Program, the system will also add a free $200 Gift Card to your cart.
The $200 Gift Card will be emailed to you after the completion of your online purchase.
LOCAL GUN SHOP ORDERS (AT A DEALER)
Purchases made at your local gun shop qualify for the program if the customer's Form 4 is completed and submitted on or before December 31, 2025. Your suppressor will include a card with a QR code that links to the Kovix Tax Stamp Program submission page.
After you fill our your information, including proof of Form 4 submission within the active Program dates, the $200 Gift Card will be emailed to you.
Yes. Your gift $200 Gift Card earned through the Kovix Tax Stamp Program will expire after December 31, 2026. That gives you an entire year to shop, wait for new products to launch, and treat yourself to something rad. You've earned it.
No, at least not the first one. Whether you purchase your suppressor online at kovix.com or from one of our authorized dealers, you will receive a $200 Gift Card after you complete your purchase. This Gift Card may be to purchase any products available from our online store. This gift card is valid on subsequent suppressor purchases.
