With the passage of H.R.1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act), the NFA transfer tax on suppressors, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, and AOWs is no more. Wile we're excited about this small win and remain optimistic about the future of the NFA, we are disappointed that the effective date of SEC. 70436 isn't until January 1st, 2026.
That means we're stuck with the $200 tax until then.

TWO WAYS TO EARN
ORDER ONLINE
To qualify for the instant cash rebate Program, you must purchase a Kovix suppressor online at kovix.com on or before December 15, 2025. When you add a Kovix suppressor to your cart, our system will automatically add the $200 Tax Stamp Instant Cash Rebate.
ORDER AT A DEALER
Purchases made through a Kovix dealer are eligible for the Program via online registration, here. Program registration must submitted before January 31, 2026. To qualify, you must submit a copy of your approved $200 tax-paid Form.

Is it cool that the tax is dropping to $0 in January. Absolutely. But this creates a problem for suppressor customers. Everybody is waiting. And there will be millions of Form 1 and Form 4 submissions as we begin the New Year. That means wait times will increase.

PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
ONLINE ORDERS
When retail customers add a Kovix suppressor to their cart, our system will automatically add a $200 Tax Stamp Instant Cash Rebate. Customers may earn one Instant Cash Rebate for every suppressor ordered. Your online order is your qualification to the Program.
We work directly with your dealer to Form 3 transfer the suppressor to them. During this process, we will forward payment for the $200 Tax Stamp, which you'll see auto-added to your cart during checkout.
Purchases made at your local gun shop qualify for the program if the customer files a completed $200-tax-paid Form 4 on or before December 31, 2025. To earn the rebate, these customers must submit a copy of their approved Form 4, showing the payment of the $200 NFA tax. These Program registrations may be submitted here.
After successful Program form submission within the active Program dates, including proof of Form 4 approval and $200 NFA tax payment, the $200 Credit will be emailed to you.
TAXATION IS THEFT
Taxation is theft. But there's not a whole lot we can do at this point about the $200 NFA tax. We made our voices heard - loud and clear. And they listened & voted this tax into oblivion. Yeah, the tax is going away, but not until January 1st, 2026. That's government for you.
